About me

I am a married mum of three young girls. My day job is a financial role in a family business. Previously I lectured in finance in DIT, Dublin and was studying a PhD in Corporate Governance. But I took a career break and a leap in 2006 and here since!

I love makeup, baking and cooking and interiors. I am not an expert in any of these but I love them all the same. I've worn fake tan for thirty years and I've tried them all from the eye-wateringly expensive to the cheapest there is. I even had my own spray tan machine for a few years.

Being a working mum you tend to get lost in the two jobs and that's why I'm writing this blog. To have a small bit of me!

I've just started trying to play golf and have a long way to go with that. To keep fit I run a few times a week and I do yoga. I sea swim once a week for the high afterwards but I'm scared of jelly fish. So it might be more fear than a high.

And I love chocolate, wine and baked goods. Laughing uproariously, movie nights with my girls, drinks with friends and have a *small* online shopping habit. or issue...depending on your perspective!
